Hello dear SHERLOCK fans out there!

Have you already seen it? Yes? No? WHY?
What am I talking about?!?

Grabbed from SHERLOCKOLOGY facebook page

Let me quote the post from SHERLOCKOLGY

"The BBC have just confirmed to us in the full the UK premiere airdates for Sherlock S3 on BBC One.

S3E1: The Empty Hearse will air January 1 2014.

S3E2: The Sign of Three will air January 5 2014.

S3E3: His Last Bow will air January 12 2014."

*SHERLOCKOLOGY corrected in the comments that it should be "Vow" not "Bow".

This post really made me excited and agitated! You already knew how much this show has made my days brighter and merrier and I just can't believe it will just be a month away for Season 3 to air! And because of that, I prepared something for SHERLOCK fans here in the Philippines!
(Aww, apologies to my foreign readers for now, but who knows! Just keep posted guys!)AND TO ALL SHERLOCK FANS WORLDWIDE!

So here it goes, last week my friends and I have been watching and talking about Avengers and Thor 2... okay, we just talked about Tom Hiddleston. Haha XD Then one of my friends started to watch Sherlock that night, and she posted how much she loves Benedict Cumberbatch and Tom Hiddleston. Because we all love those two, they requested me to craft a customized SHERLOCK earring, then a Loki earring too (but I haven't done it yet *CRIES* ). Few days ago I presented them this design and they liked it! I've been creating a limited number of these for those who are really fans of SHERLOCK. Now that I've launched it to my online shop, Miss Bella Mode, you can now order this limited edition design for Php 45! Isn't that great?!?

And because we are so happy of the latest announcement of the SHERLOCK air dates, I decided to share the happiness to all SHERLOCK fans in the Philippines and WORLDWIDE!

One winner will be picked RANDOMLY from your entries below and the other one will be picked by answering this question:
If you were Dr. John Watson, and you saw SHERLOCK walking down the London Street (and YOU thought he was DEAD!?!), what would you tell him? :)

I know you have a lot of creative responses to that! You can do it like a dialogue, (like Sherlock will say something then your/John's response to that) or what, will you slap Sherlock and say "This is for London!" ala Jane Foster to Loki? Hahah XD Anyway, be CREATIVE! I, along with my friends will read your answers and will pick the best that will win the other pair of SHERLOCK earrings!

Now this is how it goes. There will be ONE (1) INTERNATIONAL WINNER and ONE (1) LOCAL WINNER. The first to be picked is the BEST ANSWER so regardless what country you are in, you have a chance to win! If we got an INTERNATIONAL ENTRY in the BEST ANSWER part, then I will pick the second LOCAL ENTRY, RANDOMLY.
And the other way around. So you better submit your wittiest response!!! REMEBER...
Brainy is the new sexy =)

Oil-free Selfie with Garnier Light Complete

Are you fond of posting selfies on Instagram? Of course! We all do! We all wanted to flaunt our new hairstyle, fab make-up and stylish up-dos on the social community! But how now I decided to make an Oil-free selfie with Garnier Light Complete, and take note, this is also a No Makeup Look! Just my trusty facial moisturizing cream! Can this be an Instagram worthy post? Let's see!

Let us know about the product first.
Garnier Light Complete is a multi-action whitening cream with Pure Lemon Essence and Salicylic Acid derivative!

Lemon Essence- helps in whitening and purifying dark spots
Salicylic Acid- prevents pimple-causing bacteria

Okay. This might be a cliché, but I have oily skin. So the story goes, my pimply face back in high school--turned acne marks--turned to very evident spot you can see on my ID and class pictures. T.T
The thing is, when I got into University of the Philippines- Diliman, as you probably know, you can't escape, (except from the stress and the academic works...that's given >.< ), THE SUN! It's the one that follows you every time you walk around the campus every change of subjects and you have to hop from a building to another every 12 noon causing your skin to get dark and burned. YOU REALLY NEED A POWERFUL SPF WHEN YOU'RE STUDYING HERE. Unless you have a car, of course. But the catch is, I need a product that can minimizes the appearance of acne marks, prevents my skin from getting too oily throughout the day and protecting my skin from the excruciating harmful rays of the sun.

My own SELFIE challenge using GARNIER Light Complete.

Applying GARNIER Light Complete Whitening Cream

I love the lemon/ citrus scent! Plus it's good to my skin! I get instantly matte-finish, clarified skin. I don't get very oily after 8 hours or so. And after a week, any dark spots/ acne marks are noticeably minimized!
That's why I love this product! I mean, seriously, all necessary needs of my skin and lifestyle are met by GARNIER Light Complete!

Trust me, it's just the cream! Haha XD Although I'm not really 100% flawless, I'm confident with my skin! Sometimes I just put powder, eyeliner and lip balm and I'm good to go!

And here's my Oil-free Selfie pose with GARNIER Light Complete!
Is it HEART-worthy? :3

How about you? Show us your oil-free selfie too!

Fibr: Home’s Most Powerful Broadband

I'm a very active in social media nowadays and I can't stay away from updating it every now and then. Especially during these times when I have to retweet/regram the posts of some celebrities/personalities about helping the typhoon victims of Yolanda. Though I couldn't help the victims personally and financially, I have my own way of reaching out. =) Plus it's bazaars and online sales! Like fashionable clothes and shoes! From celebs! The Hunger Games-- Fashionista edition! Haha!
A really good internet connection is needed. Indeed.

If you were a character in the Hunger Games, how would you use Fibr to help you train to win the pageant?

I'd be EFFIE! So I could be Effin' Hot. LOL XD Anyway, Effie Trinket is my fave character in the Hunger Games not just because of her effin' cute role, but also because of the ever gorge Elizabeth Banks. And I think Effie's best friend (aside from her cosmetics and nail art kit) is a jeweled phone connected to Fibr so she can share her latest nail art and Effie-selfie to the whole Capitol! Not to miss her strictness to schedules! Since she's not really a contestant, I think she could use her fab phone and fast net to help Katniss and Peeta by taking OOTD's of them and posting it on Instagram to gather likes sponsors. And don't forget her alter ego is also a webbie! Elizabeth Banks loves posting her Effie looks on her blog and sometimes posts her interviews with the other casts! She also adequately answers fan questions and hold live chats! :3

Want to be powerful like that? Well, here's the PLDT Fibr commercial to start off!

Fibr, Home’s most powerful broadband, allows you to seamlessly and simultaneously experience the following:
1. Browsing of multiple websites
2. Stream hundreds blockbuster movies on-demand from Clickplay
3. Watch Cignal Digital TV Channels
4. Available now in over 800 fiber-powered villages nationwide
5. Visit or call 101-FIBR (3427) for more details.

Happy surfing!

Thor: The Dark World Screening by Nuffnang and GLOBE (+ Review!)

Being a fan is not that easy. Browsing on Google, checking out interviews on YouTube, and spending most of your time online for updates in Twitter.
Oh yes, I was struck by the Hiddleston fandom after I watched Thor: The Dark World. (Hiddlestoners? Anyone? Welcome me to the club!)
Believe it or not, I just knew/appreciated him after his performance as Loki in this movie. I wasn't really a fan of Thor or any Marvel movie... but I think this moved me.

Well, thanks to Nuffnang and Globe for tickets to Thor: The Dark World 3D screening last Oct. 30 at Newport Cinemas, Resorts World Manila. It was such a great treat during my sem break to be with hundreds of Nuffnangers and watch an amazing film. And YOU are the culprit to my fandom right now!

At the same time, GLOBE introduced their FREE FACEBOOK promo to all GLOBE and TM users!

One thing that kept me from posting this early is that I had to watch Thor 1 to be able to write and review appropriately. At first I wasn't really thrilled to see this film-- just with the 3D glasses though XD but I was really wrong and late! I didn't have a hard time coping up with the characters of the film, I've seen the brothers Thor and Loki from the Avengers movie and it was really a different take from there. Thor is more matured here and his romantic relationship with Jane Foster sparked up in this film... well we haven't seen much from The Avengers, have we? I really love that "slap". So romantic. EHEHEHE. Meanwhile (okay I can't stop laughing because of EHEHEHE), Loki became less evil of a villain... more of a mischievous comedian god. It's really Loki's Comedy Movie! Kidding aside, Tom had to take a twist from his evil plans of conquering the earth to help his brother. And his role in here is waay too good from the first and The Avengers! He's so lovable villain.

Twisted. Very cunning and funny. Teary eyed in the end. Great effects and storyline.

Spoiler? There will be a THOR 3. There should be.

The photo on the left was taken maybe a month ago from the Runner Runner screening also by Nuffnang and GLOBE. I asked my father to take a shot of me with Loki (I didn't know Hiddles that time), but since that I really find him amusing. Sadly (*insert a really sad face here*) there was no Loki poster on RWM, so I just managed to be with the thunder god.

Oh well, that's all! I hope you will watch it on the big screen too. If you could see the BTS on YouTube (fandom thing) you can see how hard it is to ever create that awesome scenes. Not just talking about effects, about everything, including stunts and the portrayal. One of my friends had been just accepted to BA Film and I hope him to be very well. Being a director is no joke.

So that's it! Hope you could drop by and leave me comments!

Philippine Fashion Week Day 4 : Long and Lazy

The most awaited season of all fashionistas and bloggers around had came yet I was so lazy. No no.. don't get me wrong-- I'm really excited to what our local fashion designers have to present but some factors during that day drained my enthusiasm. First is the time of the show, 2:30pm! I have planned my outfit for the PhFW but then (I think) it's not applicable and very awkward to wear at daytime when the sun's shining very bright and it's hot. So I had to search through my closet again to wear something more "applicable". Second is the very untimely coincidence of road reblocking along EDSA!! It's like it's the only day I'll go to PhFW and arrghh!! Hello looong traffic!
And the last is that the head lights of my father's motorcycle was inoperative so we can't stay until dark and we have to leave SMX early.

Whew. But then I managed to go and meet up with my HRIM classmate, Irish! :)
It's her first time to watch PhFW and look! Loved her  outfit!

Bringing out the sexy back!

Here's my earthy "lazy" outfit. Haha XD

Even she has to endure the heavy traffic along Buendia, and still looks fresh!

We attended the show of Anthony Ramirez, Chris Jasler, Lizanne Cua, Melchor Guinto and Randall Solomon. It was worth the travel to see the works of 5 designers!

Here are their designs:

Anthony Ramirez's Sous La Lune collection
If you've been following Anthony Ramirez's Instagram account, you've already known that these clothes are now worn by celebrities like Danita Paner and Karen Bordador. Who wouldn't love the cuts and structure play in these designs? These kind of designs are so "red carpet ready" with minimalist and sexy design and celebs haven't recovered from the sheer and peek-a-boo trend yet.

This is the one worn by Karen Bordador. :)

And this is my fave! Loved the color and the black accents and the ruffles!

Ruffa Mae Quinto for the finale, wearing an off shoulder gown with strategic peek-a-boos that accentuates her curvaceous body.

The designer, Anthony Ramirez with his muse, Ruffa Mae.

Chris Jasler's Collection
His collection is a ready-to-wear smart casual design-- using jeans and shirt layered by formal pieces like polos and jackets, but with a hint of grunge.

This man came out wearing a very clean and neat outfit, then after a second, they dimmed the lights and someone was putting grease (or black paint, am not sure) in some parts of his suit!

And here's the result.

I loved how his designs are wearable, edgy and polished. I mean, it's a transition outfit like if you have a meeting in the morning and a casual date in the evening, just take off your jacket and you're good!

Chris Jasler, designer.

Lizanne Cua's Sibylline collection

We had minimalistic and edgy from the previous designers, now we will have a futuristic sans black and white. Lizanne Cua's Sibylline collection consists of colorful and color-blocking sheer, flowy and reflective textures. Perfect for summer in the beach, when you want to enjoy the sands in the day and the beach party at night. For sure you will stand out.

What's nice is that you can avail of her designs at The Vatican in Podium! Hmm.. want to try out some? :)

Lizanne Cua

Melchor Guinto's Collection
At the first picture, you might just deduce that it's a retro-inspired, and prints collection.

But the thing is their footwear,

they're wearing bakya! :)

You might think that it's just fine, because it's Spring/Summer Collection, and the girls would really love to wear bakya during that season.

Guys, I dare you.

To wear a suit,
a fresh looking formal outfit like this
(but in fairness, I loved the tiger design :)

wearing bakya.

Yep, all the models are wearing those. And we are the one's feeling uneasy for them.

Melchor Guinto

Randall Solomon's Collection
Fairies. Magical. Wedding.
Three words to describe Randall Solomon's collection.
Intricately beaded gowns, embroidery and patterns, you will really feel dreamy and like you've been transported to a magical place. But the last few designs were in the shades of white and cream, perfect for magical weddings too. :)

Marina Benipayo opened the show with a beautifully embroidered gown.

And this is my fave from this collection! Feels like the petals have showered on her and have not left her dress. Awwww....

Also to close the show, Marina wore a beaded gown with a long ruffled tail.

Their headdresses remind me not only the forest fairies but also of a bride's veil.

I'm sure every bride-to-be wanted to try out some of his designs (even I wanted to take it all home and fit them! Hahaha XD ).

So that's a wrap! The Filipino designers are really creative and world-class when it comes to fashion! Let's support their shows and patronize their works. After all, it's Filipino made! Tatak PINOY!SLR selfies!

Love lots!

Momo :)
