It's a GREEN dress

Hello Charmed girls!

Back to school countdown! Have you started counting yet? LoL. Wish we could "count up" instead. Haha! Okay since the school's coming up in a few days, it maybe my last chance to take decent outfit shots. Thanks to my ever patient and teasing mom for taking my photos and to help me with my outfit. :D

Remember the gown I wore at my bestie's debut? And the laced cardigan I used to dress down my LBD at PFW? Those 2 items I bought during the shopping spree from Embellish. Now I'm wearing these two pieces at the same time. Hope I can pull it off. :D



What I[and my mom] did was that we folded the gown up to the half-slip and ensured its place by the black lace belt to transform it into a dress.
See the title of my post? It's really like moss green but looks light blue under flash. That's why the accessories I used are color green.

I was thinking of a casual-corporate attire. The dress has a lace details on the side seen without the blazer making it an outfit you can wear to a cocktail party. While topping it with a blazer turns like I'm one of those walking the streets of Ayala.

And I'm wearing my favorite nude pumps with leopard prints that made me look like a long-legged, tall lady! That's what I've learned from Ms. Aisa Ipac when I asked some styling tips for my body type. The blazer and the lace details made me look thinner too!

   Embellish has a wide range of outfits that brings out every Filipina's sense of style. Like what I've done, it's a "transforming"outfit-  something you can wear from day to night, from office to a party. What most of us do, we are so busy that we have to think of other ways to wear it. Me, I don't have enough clothes to wear and blog to be a true blue fashion blogger, because I seldom buy clothes. But whenever I buy, I always consider how many times I can wear it in different styles. That's versatility.

Philippine Fashion Week Day 4: Cary Santiago's Show

Hello Charmed people!

Hope you enjoyed watching the PFW! Especially those fashion bloggers who want to show off their outfits and to those who just want to stalk fashion icons out there. Haha :D. I just attended Cary Santiago's show along with my fellow bloggers and the winners of my invites giveaway. Unfortunately, my cellphone malfunctioned that day, so I wasn't able to contact them (even my parents!)! I was only able to meet one winner, Geri! Nice chat with you!

If you happen to visit her blog <http://gerimagsakay.tumblr.com/>, you'll notice that she buys her clothes from thrift shops and ukays. That's why I blog hop on her blog and read her posts 'cause I don't buy from ukays 'cause I hear those we're from unwanted sources (okay, you know these things right?). But when we chatted, we talked about how to safely shop on ukays and where's the place to buy. And it's really a money-saver! You can't guess that Geri's outfit just sums up around Php200!!! While my pumps(which is the newest) already worth 500pesos! See? see? *sighs*

Anyways, back to PFW. Here's the runway.

Here are the design's of Cary Santiago. Seems familiar? Yes, some of these gowns were those worn by Camille Co, Laureen Uy and Tricia Gosingtian for the Preview Magazine cover.

This outfit looks very "Effie Trinket" to me! I'm so excited for Catching Fire na!

Leika's Blue Debut

Hello there!

 It's been a while since I'm talking about my best friend's debut and how excited I am to see them again. We were completed again. The four of us namely, Leika, Kris, Bryan, and me! If you only saw me, I was smiling whole-heartedly all night long! I miss them. And also their parents are so sweet like we belong to the family :) Aww..

Oh well, here it goes.

     Leika is a very good friend of ours and she turned 18 last Saturday but she celebrated it with her family and friends last night at the Tanghalang Pasigueño.

Actually this dress is olive green. But the theme of the debut is blue! Haha XD I just said that my dress' color depends on the light. So you see? It looks light blue in here! *excuses!*

And it's also a masquerade themed debut so we got to wear mask!

My look last night received a lot of compliments! (I can still remember how Leika's mom, Tita Lea, slapped my bum and said "Dalaga ka na"! >.<) Aww.. Especially my gown from Embellish that I bought during the Embellish shopping and workshop! It's a wise choice too, since I'm one of the hosts for that night. Simple and cool in the eyes :)

 I'm still wearing my falsies here ( Trivia: It's my first time to wear false eyelashes!), but then I removed it LoL It became so annoying. And I have a very bad eyesight that also makes it a hindrance.

And finally Bryan came to complete the barkada!

We knew each other 7 years ago, but we've only been friends when we were 2nd year HS. It's a very long and exciting story how our bond keeps on holding. Just picture yourself reading a novel while every character comes to life and become real. Our story is like that. And I'm very glad to say that we are not yet on the finale. Conflict arises every now and then; full of comedy, love stories (between the four of us? Yes.), horror and drama. It's so funny how I see our friendship like this, but it's true. I nearly wanted to write a whole book out of it and I assure you, it would be sold out!

We are really family to them! Tito and Tita not only considers us as friends of Leika, but a family friend and we're very happy to have such close relationship to them. :) <3 br="br">  

Hosting is not that easy though. Especially when you are wearing heels. >.< .I remember taking off my pumps thrice and walked bare-foot!

The most kilig part <3 :d=":d" and="and" br="br" bryan="bryan" dance="dance" leika="leika" s="s"> Bryan is the 16th rose and Leika chose the song "Can I have this Dance?" in his turn 'cause they used to sing it before while dancing too :)

*sighs* But they are not together though.  You know why? Oh well, everybody say: TORPE. :P

And her last dance is her father. :)

For the last (surprise) intermission number, they sang duet of "Walang Hanngan". <3 br="br">And it's impromptu! Double <3 p="p">

After the program, it's party time!

And it's our time to take pics with Leika!!! Whee!!! :D

Bryan is the one taking pictures here while Leika is removing the pins on her hair. And he was like, "Momo puro mukha mo na 'to!".

And she's done putting down her hair!
