It's a GREEN dress

Hello Charmed girls!

Back to school countdown! Have you started counting yet? LoL. Wish we could "count up" instead. Haha! Okay since the school's coming up in a few days, it maybe my last chance to take decent outfit shots. Thanks to my ever patient and teasing mom for taking my photos and to help me with my outfit. :D

Remember the gown I wore at my bestie's debut? And the laced cardigan I used to dress down my LBD at PFW? Those 2 items I bought during the shopping spree from Embellish. Now I'm wearing these two pieces at the same time. Hope I can pull it off. :D



What I[and my mom] did was that we folded the gown up to the half-slip and ensured its place by the black lace belt to transform it into a dress.
See the title of my post? It's really like moss green but looks light blue under flash. That's why the accessories I used are color green.

I was thinking of a casual-corporate attire. The dress has a lace details on the side seen without the blazer making it an outfit you can wear to a cocktail party. While topping it with a blazer turns like I'm one of those walking the streets of Ayala.

And I'm wearing my favorite nude pumps with leopard prints that made me look like a long-legged, tall lady! That's what I've learned from Ms. Aisa Ipac when I asked some styling tips for my body type. The blazer and the lace details made me look thinner too!

   Embellish has a wide range of outfits that brings out every Filipina's sense of style. Like what I've done, it's a "transforming"outfit-  something you can wear from day to night, from office to a party. What most of us do, we are so busy that we have to think of other ways to wear it. Me, I don't have enough clothes to wear and blog to be a true blue fashion blogger, because I seldom buy clothes. But whenever I buy, I always consider how many times I can wear it in different styles. That's versatility.

French-Inspired Nails, Midnight Rainbows and Silver Platinum Nails by Paige Seven

Hello Charmed girls!

My nails have been polished for many times by Ate Paige since July and the thing is, I still couldn't have the perfect time to post them!! As you know, Ate Paige is a very sweet blogger friend/org mate of us that loves nail polishes and nail arts!Whenever there are nail art contests (like the one from Caronia), we tag her and she joins them and because she has lucky fingers, she always wins them!! Whoo!!

Week before I attended the DDG Grand Launch, I asked Ate Paige to do some nail art on my nails.
I'm not really fond of nail arts, but I do trust Ate Paige regarding the design that will fit to my personality. I wanted an elegant design, not too detailed and messy, but unique! And I always tell her that I FELL IN LOVE with her EIFFEL TOWER NAILS
(o di ba, maisingit lang!)!!

So she did a FRENCH-INSPIRED NAILS for me!

Paige told me that she plans to do a DIY tutorial in this French-inspired nails!Watch out for it!


This second one is what I called MIDNIGHT RAINBOWS. I also asked her to paint me this because I got envious with her PURPLE DISCO nails! BTW, both base colors are ORLY nail polishes.

And the last but not the least the SILVER PLATINUM!! This is a part of the gift pack she won from Caronia's Friendship Day contest! I'm so thankful she shared her winnings to me. Aww.. I'm touched. :))

Collage IT lovely! :)

Good rainy evening, everyone!

It's my time to share another blog giveaway experience. 

Just a while ago, I received a message saying that I won in a giveaway contest. This really made me feel happy and, of course, really lucky. I'm not that kind of person who joins every giveaway contest I lay my eyes on (though, there's nothing really wrong with that.) I just join whenever I feel like joining. :)

Actually, one of the factors that really made me want to blog are those giveaways held by generous bloggers out there in order to gain followers (or  maybe because of other reasons). Like many, hesitation really occurred to me at first. I used to ask myself, 'are these people that rich to just giveaway random stuff to anyone by only clicking the 'follow' or 'like' button here in the cyber world?' Pretty sure that many have also asked that question. I've read posts on Tumblr by different people who were surprised and hesitant like I did before. Many didn't really like spam about giveaways flooding their dashboards. But then, the day that I've won my first giveaway prize came and that really surprised me. I'm on my way to school that morning when someone called me asking for my address. That call made my day. Also, I felt 100% lucky from that day on because my prize isn't just an ordinary prize. It is a gift certificate worth of Php 2000. As I remember, I made a blog post about that here (Please do check it :).

Okay, enough of that long story of my previous giveaway prize. Past is past and lets now focus on the present. I've won a software.
