Hello Charmed!!


    Here's another nail art done by my good friend and nail art aficionado, Paige of Sweet Little Bits! If you're asking why she does my nails because, simply, I can't do it. No matter how I try. Maybe I don't have that special talent in doing nail art (aside from not having nail art brushes and long fingernails). But whenever I have to attend a very special event like the press preview of They're Playing Our Song, I asked her to spare some time prepping my nails. Aside from that I enjoy musicals lately, like Pitch Perfect! And I'm finally singing with my heart out again!

So here it is! My "They're Playing Our Song- inspired nail art!"


I just wanted (and always wanted) a G-clef nail art. But then Paige was having a problem with my short  nails. It's my fault really, I forgot to let them grow for this. So then she decided to design my nails with other musical symbols. She used Caronia Crystal for the base and Caronia Black Velvet for the design and also Caronia Top Coat and Nail Hardener for the top coat. :)
This was done outdoor, so that's why they are a li'l bit smudgy but hey! Those are too cute, right? :D

Here's my right hand! The F-clef complements well with the G-clef. Aww... :D

She even tried to draw a rest and a flat but it was hard because the nail polish went sticky already because we're outdoors.

Okay, everybody sing!! La, la, la-la, la....

NOTD: Carolina Peach Colorblock

Hello Charmed girls!

I really wanted to update Charmed as frequent as I can but acads is still on the waaayy.... And now the sem is nearly on its end (Yay!), so we've got to focus... right Aimee? But the events keep on coming. Hoho. She'll be going (I think) to the Cheer Dance Competition on Saturday at MOA, and I don't know if I'll be going to Candy Fair 2012 (also on Saturday) since I don't have a companion. Any one who wants to go with me? :D

Anyways, here's a nail-of-the-day post for ya! Truth be told, it really just lived a day. I just tried the shades. 'Cause nail-arts (even nail polishes) , doesn't last that long with my ever-moving hands!! LoL But still I can manage to snap pictures of my nails...




For this I used CAROLINA PEACHes of different brands and shades. One is from Caronia which I borrowed from Paige, and the other one is from Bobbie which my mom bought.



As you can see they differ obviously on the shade, but they are both nice to the nails! It complements well dark to natural skin tones. See Paige's review on it.

Since I had the Bobbie first, I've used it a lot on my nails and nearly hard already. But because I got amused of the Caronia's shade, I wanted to try both!

Here I've applied first the Caronia shade then the Bobbie, then I carefully put a second coat on Caronia.



I used tape for the color-blocking, just so you know. :D

French-Inspired Nails, Midnight Rainbows and Silver Platinum Nails by Paige Seven

Hello Charmed girls!

My nails have been polished for many times by Ate Paige since July and the thing is, I still couldn't have the perfect time to post them!! As you know, Ate Paige is a very sweet blogger friend/org mate of us that loves nail polishes and nail arts!Whenever there are nail art contests (like the one from Caronia), we tag her and she joins them and because she has lucky fingers, she always wins them!! Whoo!!

Week before I attended the DDG Grand Launch, I asked Ate Paige to do some nail art on my nails.
I'm not really fond of nail arts, but I do trust Ate Paige regarding the design that will fit to my personality. I wanted an elegant design, not too detailed and messy, but unique! And I always tell her that I FELL IN LOVE with her EIFFEL TOWER NAILS
(o di ba, maisingit lang!)!!

So she did a FRENCH-INSPIRED NAILS for me!

Paige told me that she plans to do a DIY tutorial in this French-inspired nails!Watch out for it!


This second one is what I called MIDNIGHT RAINBOWS. I also asked her to paint me this because I got envious with her PURPLE DISCO nails! BTW, both base colors are ORLY nail polishes.

And the last but not the least the SILVER PLATINUM!! This is a part of the gift pack she won from Caronia's Friendship Day contest! I'm so thankful she shared her winnings to me. Aww.. I'm touched. :))

Caronia Tropical Doll collection X Blogger bonding!

Hello Charmed girls!

Last, last Friday, we Paige, Aimee and I had a blogger bonding. Means we had bonding, like taking pictures, posing like crazy and the like. It all started when Paige asked us to paint our nails with her new Caronina nail polishes (see her post here!). And we ended up taking pictures, and yes, blogging about it. :)

Paige had picked colors that suits our skin tone and personality. Aimee had that alabaster skin and the green one matched her skin very well! Mine is like a clash of red and orange, good for my natural beige skin.

Trivia: Mikee is a varsity chess player here in UP(I tried "googling" her name, and I saw it in a lot of chess rankings and competition!). Our orgmate and friend, she's really kind and cute!

What's more fun than having your blogger friends right here,not just one call away but just one..uhmm... whisper away? Haha :D  So we're making the most of it.
