  Two of the most trending movies last March served as an inspiration for my latest addition to my Fabric Button Collection; Divergent and Captain America: The Winter Soldier. NICHIDO Lip Liner in Rosette Review (plus Doctor Who stuff!)

It's fun how exchange gifts and wishlists influence you to try out a new product. Haha! We had an exchange gift two weeks ago in our newsletter team and because the giver should be a "secret" we created a wishlist where everybody could write what they want to receive. Thankfully my "baby" just wanted either a USB or The Big Bang Theory Episodes. So I gave her Loki earrings! Haha! 

WHICH I MADE! EXCUSE ME! And she requested that from me long before. #excuses
Okay, well I noticed that on the wishlist, two girls wanted to receive a NICHIDO lip liner. And considering we have a 100 minimum budget, I thought that this was really cheap! So I checked this one out!

I found out that this comes in four shades: Blaze (red color), Spice (coral shade), Roseberry (nude) and this one Rosette (warm pink/brown/natural). 

Price: P100! Very affordable for a student budget!

One stroke on my hand





As you can see, it gives off a natural, warm, pink+brown color and it matches my lips perfectly! Perfect for everyday look to school! I really love wearing a natural looking lip product whenever I go to school so it's not very obvious yet you look neat and nice. And it's my first time to try out a lip liner and it really works fine!

Pros:

Good pigmentation
Nice color on my lips
Doesn't hurt my lips when applying because it has a creamy consistency
Perfect for go-to looks/"no make-up look"/natural look

Cons:
The shade is so natural on my lips I almost thought at first I didn't put anything at all! (Well, I want to try out the other shades too!)
Creaminess of the product tend to smudge and feather, but not too much. No worries about that actually.


Will I buy again?
Yes! But different shades! I would love to try Blaze and Spice. I was actually torn between buying Spice or Rosette. But I loved the redness of Blaze!




Under daylight

But I absolutely love how it looks under daylight. I love how can be matched with less-to-no make up at all or with bronzers+blush ! In fact I can totally wear it on it's own and still look like I just got out from bed! LOL! haha!

Powder + Nichido lip liner + messy hair= beach babe just-woke-up-and-I'm-off-to-go

And of course, it reminds me of Amy Ponds' look! I know you know that I'm still watching Doctor Who Season 6 and she's one of the reasons why I love the show! And I'm really keen on copying her look! Hahaha! I also want ginger hair!!!!!!

Well with a dash of eyeliner, mascara, cheek tint and brow liners (and ginger hair!!) and off you rock Karen Gillan's look in here!

Talking about Doctor Who, let me just say that I'm one of the fans that really love Matt Smith's role as the 11th Doctor and now that he left the show to pass the torch to Peter Capaldi, I really wish Matt to have an awesome career outside Who!

Cocktail Collection @ Miss Bella Mode

Hello Charmed people!

This is what I've been doing the past few weeks! I was preparing for the launch of my latest collection of accessories! So for those who have been following me, I've been active on Instagram @moriela20 and Miss Bella Mode's IG @missbellamode . I've also changed the previous logo to this one! What can you say huh? Can't let go of red, black, white theme! Haha!

And here's my latest collection of earrings! 

It's a mix of french designs, and inspired by chandeliers and beverages!

This collection started later last year but only now I had the time to launch it due to academic reasons. Almost all of them were already made as early as November 2012! I was just hesitant because I this is just my second take on making accessories and I had to "try" them!  Thankfully, I was getting nice feedback from my friends who have seen these personally. Now I had the courage to finally show it online! Haha!

Embellish Shopping and Workshop with Tin Iglesias, Aisa Ipac and Tracy Ayson

Hello Charmed girls!


       Last Friday, I went to The Podium to shop at Embellish with Tin Iglesias! I just won Php1000 shopping allowance and Php500  ZALORA GC! How's that! See how I won here. If you only knew how bad the day was for me (I'm just relieving my stress by watching Sherlock Holmes!--the British one--Benedict Cumberbatch is just so hot!) until Tin tagged me in her comment that I will shop with her! Oh my, I really need new addition to my wardrobe plus, the shopping helped me ease my feeling! I'm just so excited!

The Embellish shop is located inside Markati Palazzo at 4th Floor of The Podium. 

There I was welcomed by the Embellish team!

  In case you don't know, it's my second time to meet Tin. Remember the first? The SSB?  I posted it! Here. And still, I am still surprised by her! What I mean is her character haha XD First thought, Tin's a shy type lady but when you meet her, she's so becky! Actually the three of them hoho :D

Actually, I didn't have the hard time to choose since I've already knew my style and I have the first thing to find; a dress. I actually found one, and it's really a gown! Haha XD Thankfully, we've got two popular blogger/stylists in town to help us choose our wardrobe!


And here's Paxie, Ms. Aisa Ipac! 

They started the Blogging and Styling Workshop. There, they talked about how to deal with sponsors, to manage blogs,and also when they started styling and their styling 101's. I was very receptive of what I hear from them, of course! I always visit their blogs for styling tips and featured brands, what's in and what's not! Especially, Fashion Ate the World by Tin, since I liked her style, and I like to guess which place in UPD she shot her pics! haha XD, and have you been seeing her hairstyle nowadays? The braids, yes! I'm envious 'coz I'm still on my short hair moment haha XD
  

They've been asked to sample their style using the products inside Embellish.

Tracy's more of a feminine style, and also to show how to play with "print on print", she picked the sheer floral polo and a floral shorts to match.

Paxie likes vintage and showed us how to layer clothes properly.

Grunge and Edgy is Tin Iglesias' style. Fringed black blouse and a matching short completes her chosen outfit. Matching without overpowering the one from the other.

I really enjoyed the shopping and the workshop! Thank you Embellish!
The moment I can't forget is the chat I had with Ms. Aisa Ipac! First I asked for style advice (syempre di ba?Helur!Stylist siya now ni Karylle! ), where she shoots outfit shots and who's her photographer; she said that it was all self-timered! I was surprised ! (insert "Oh God, Why?" meme here) Samantalang ako hirap na hirap mag-outfit shot pag self timered, siya…. Oh my, something are really meant to be pulled off by others. *sighs* Infairness, I we had a good conversation. Kinilig pa nga ako eh! 'Coz I asked Tin and Aisa to comment about the earrings I'm wearing, (oo, pinilit ko sila mag-comment!haha XD), they said it's cute! Then I told them I made those earrings! I received a couple of "Ooohh.."s and they asked some questions >.< I'm so kilig! Thank you so much! You boosted my handcrafting confidence level! Yeah!

My Embellish shopping bag! Inside it was an olive green dress (which is really a gown for me!) and my favorite piece that day, a black long sleeved cardigan with lace details! Whee!! I love the pieces I've picked! I planned of wearing the dress/gown to my bestfriend, Leika's, debut on the 22nd, and the cardigan… I plan of joining Embellish's Blogging/Styling Contest to win Php 10,000 worth of ZALORA GC and more! The cardigan is just a lovely piece and can really make an outfit fab!

      Cheers to my first ever handmade accessory collection!! Yay! *Claps!* Let me show you my Dream-Catcher Inspired Earrings designed by ME! I've been working on it since last month but I've only had the time to take photos of it today. I'm just too excited!
 
    I've been fancied by the handmade accessories so I've tried my luck on it. After buying some materials and brainstorm on different designs, here are my creations!

   Aren't they cheap enough? What I like in these earrings are that they reflect light(except the last two)! Like the disco ball effect… so when you wear them they flash colors, so lively and fun! They might look big.. But they are so light weight!
