You can preserve the concept of manliness by being good inside and outside. It's not just about being vain to your physical appearance but also getting to know how to be a good man inside by being a gentleman. Actually I'm a conservative woman so being treated right by guys matters to me. For me, a modern man may be aware of the latest fashion and pampering ideas for them, may it be the coolest outfits or the newest spa in town, but most importantly being able to use his good looks, not to be an egotistical lad but by improving himself to be a better person.
